Heavenly Bounty & Young Living
This is the first newsletter I have created so bear with me as I figure out what I am doing and begin to develop a newsletter that is beneficial to all my readers. As most of you know my life is a walk of faith and allowing God to work through me. I am still learning how to “Be Still and Know He is God. (Psalms 46:10) I feel I learned a lot of things through personally having to figure out what was beneficial to me and those I love. At this point I believe I am going to use this newsletter as a way of sharing things I have learned, neat seasonal items from Young Living and those things I think you might find beneficial as you strive to live a healthier
life. I have learned a lot of things by trial and error - so take the things I share with a grain of salt and feel free to try different things. I believe we have to listen to our bodies as we walk out this journey.
First, I guess you would benefit from knowing how I began my learning journey. In 1997 I became very ill. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. After a long period of time and the development of many other problems brought on by the medications I was on, I began looking for alternatives. I am not a person who sits still, lies in bed, or is depressed and was not willing to settle for that. I ended up going to a naturopathic doctor in San Antonio. He began working with me to overcome the problems I had developed. Part of the things items he used were Young Living Essential Oils.
Now at that time I had no idea what an impact that would have in my life. As I began to get better and regain a few of the brain cells that were in hiding I started to experiment
some on my own. One of the first things I started on was a fungal spot on the back of my right leg. It started out as a red spot about the size of a dime. By the time it got the size of a quarter (about a year later) I began to realize I had to do something. I started looking at all the essential oils that were effective on fungus and viruses. One of the books I used
was Advanced Aromatherapy:The Science of Essential Oil Therapy by Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D. I am not real sure why I chose the oils I did but, once again you need to trust your
instinct. I started with Lavender. I would use Lavender on the spot every night as I took a bath. The spot began to change and itch. I took that to be a good sign, as my thinking was if you are killing off a fungus it should itch. After a while I added Marjoram which seems to dry it and make it crusty but, still did not kill it. In the end I decided to use Melalucua http://www.youngliving.com/en_US/products/essential-oils/singles/melaleuca-alternifolia-essential-oil. Well, that was a real experience. After using this oil my leg started itching and I believe it itched all the way to the bone. I have never had anything itch sooooo bad. By this time I was pretty sure the fungus had really spread. Now you must know this was not an overnight healing but, a slow process. That spot is gone and left a little scar. Much later I had another spot come up on the front of the other leg so I pulled out the essential oils.
That spot is also gone. If you are interested in learning more about essential oils here is a link for you. If you decide to order please go to my website https://www.youngliving.org/dtidwell and place your order or email firstname.lastname@example.org
At this time I will try to put together a newsletter once a month. Sooooo - stay tuned for the
one in December. Happy learning
and I hope I peaked your interest in getting back to nature in one of the most
