Do You Care

This for all those who are concerned about where America is going.  This has been a really hard election for people on both sides of the issues.  I have friends that I treasure on both sides of this election.  As you know emotions are running high, relationships are stretched, friends distant. No matter which side of the issue you are on we all realize this is one of the most dangerous elections yet.  How many elections have you lived through that have had so MANY choices?  Yes in the end it has come down to the usual amount.  We have 4 days until the choice will be made.  
 
How many of you have been very vocal about how you feel about your candidate and said ugly things about the other candidate?  How many of you have prayed?  How many have fasted? How many of you have prayed and fasted?  I know as Americans we are not lead to fast for the most part.  However, I want to take a minute to encourage each of you to be on your knees in prayer and to fast as we approach a very crucial time in the history of America.  It does not matter what side of this issue you are on. Don't pray for a specific party, person, or idea.  Pray that God's will be done in America.  Pray for the healing of this land and for His hand to be upon us.  Pray for Him to use the person picked for His purpose.  For you see it is not about us but it is about Him.
